About Us

2550 Main building

For over thirty years at Hartford Behavioral Health (HBH), our clients use their resilience to focus on their strengths and their ability to live a recovering lifestyle. We are always inspired and taught by their courage and their grace. Through their example, we know that hard work can result in a healthier and happier life in the community. We feel privileged to help our clients reach their optimum of mental health and recovery from chemical dependency.

Hartford Behavioral Health is a private, non-profit community agency providing outpatient behavioral health services to the greater Hartford area. We are a culturally diverse and dynamic organization that prides itself on clinical excellence and a commitment to the people we serve. As a multi-site provider of behavioral health services in Hartford to adults and children, HBH offers the information on this web site to assist people who wish to learn more about mental health and chemical dependency issues, and how HBH’s services and recovery systems help.

Since 2008, HBH is proud to be awarded the Joint Commission Gold Seal of approval for health care quality and excellence.  For more information, questions or concerns click on the link below.
